A friend sent me to look into a software platform that looks very interesting for the city government and the city residents to make comments and track issues, it is called decidim. They have a short video explaining their site. Might want to set up a small committee to look into possibly using this as a tool in Frederick.

I believe the best way forward is to receive public comment at a later hearing about the possibility of switching to a decidim based system of grassroots, transparent, open source, participation driven, engaged, community led governance and economic equity. There should be an exploratory committee founded by Frederick residents, of diverse backgrounds and perspectives, that should investigate the viability of the decidim platform.
