a. Approval of an Ordinance to amend Chapter 4 of the Frederick City Code (the Adequate Public Facilities Ordinance) to establish a Downtown Frederick Mobility Fee District
On behalf of Downtown Frederick Partnership, I am writing to express the organization’s support for the adoption of the new Downtown Frederick Mobility Fee district. We are excited to see this legislation move forward. This new mobility fee will result in the completion of real, on the ground mobility enhancing projects. We also are hopeful that the new fee will help to incentivize infill development, encouraging the sustainable choice of developing where infrastructure already exists. The Partnership looks forward to being a part of the learning process as this new district is implemented for the first time in our community. Kara Norman, Partnership Executive Director
