I do not oppose this project as it is in the adopted CIP and I presume in line with the Citywide Parks abd Recreation Master Plan but I must ask why it is being fast tracked ahead of adoption of the Master Plan for Hillstreet Park now being prepared by MHG Engineers and Planners .At least I have not heard that that plan has been finally prersented . That same firrn is doing a Master Plan for Mullinix Park and there are elements which Friends of Mullinix Park asked for over two years agothat are on hold until the Master Plan is completed. Specifically 2 covered pinnic tables with grills near the basketball court and Diggs Pool . Proceeding with those would not be in conflict with the grand plan for Mullinix Park any more so than fast tracking this pump track will be . The South End deserves equal treatment to the West Side .
