There is a lot of traffic on West Patrick Street and West College Terrace. How is traffic to be addressed going into and out of the site? Also, why so close to the street? Can't they be set back a bit further to give the impression of green space as one enters the city and not see a sidewalk with trees and wall?

Jefferson Street, Frederick MD. - We want to ensure that the project incorporates green space to include deciduous and evergreen trees that buffer light and sound between the complex and the right of way behind the N. Jefferson Street and Carrol Parkway homes. This will provide continued safety, security and privacy to both the present residents of the surrounding homes and the prospective residents of the complex.
We would also like to request that the design of the project fit into the look of the area. Consider the appearance of Parkway Elementary, Frederick High School and the houses in the area and incorporate these aspects, such as brick, historic perspective and other design issues, into your building design and landscaping.
