Banner School is closing, no need for a zone there anymore.
As a parent who has driven to Frederick Classical Charter School every school day since 2014, I do not recommend adding school zone to Monocacy Blvd or Gas House Pike. There are no school buses. I am only aware of one student who has ever walked to this school (and that was always with a parent - they road the public bus system). The children are not ever out on these main roads. Please do not slow traffic or add speed cameras on main roads in this area. If you do feel it necessary to add a School Zone for this school (it has been at this location since 2013), please limit it to Spires, Helix, Progress, and Precision.
