Dear City Council, my name is Malcolm Furgol and I live in Tasker's Chance in the city of Frederick. My comments here reflect both my viewpoint as Executive Director for the Coalition for a Healthier Frederick County and as a city resident, voter and home owner.
I strongly support the proposed changes to the Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) ordinance. These changes will increase the number of property owners willing to develop ADUs and help make them an important part of the spectrum of housing needed to provide adequate affordable housing inventory to city of Frederick residents.
